Desk Copies
Desk copies are provided on request. An invoice will accompany your desk book. If you decide to adopt the book and 10 or more copies of the book are ordered from AIHA by the requester or by a bookstore within 3 months of invoice date, the desk copy may be kept. Otherwise, you may purchase the book at the invoiced amount or return it to AIHA unmarked and in resalable condition. All returns must be accompanied by an invoice.
Review Copies
AIHA Press provides review copies for possible promotion in a journal or other publication. Please e-mail your request to infonet@aiha.org, Attention: Sharon Hammon, or fax your request to (703) 207-3561.
Pricing/Payment Information
Prices in this catalog are subject to change without notice. Prepayment is required on all orders. Payment may be made by check payable to AIHA, money order, or credit card – VISA, MasterCard, or American Express. Payment must be in U.S. dollars. For exceptionally large or special orders, please contact AIHA Customer Service at (703) 849-8888.
Nonmember Quantity Discounts
Discounts for multiple copies of the same publication are available as follows:
- 10 or more copies: 25 percent off regular price
- Discounts may not be combined for one order
- Universities and bookstores are eligible for special discounts. Please contact AIHA Customer Service at (703) 849-8888.
Guarantee of Satisfaction
AIHA publications and products are fully guaranteed and subject to refunds based on the following return policies:
Publications Return Policy
Publications must be returned within 30 days from the date of receipt for a refund of the price, less a restocking fee of 20%. Orders that are returned must be in resalable condition and shipped prepaid by the customer. A copy of the invoice must accompany the return. Claims for incorrect or damaged shipments must be made within 30 days from invoice date, or such claims are invalid. This return policy does not apply to software, electronic-only, or custom-published products.
Distance Learning (DL) Courses Return Policy
It is AIHA’s policy not to sell or accept returns of partial products; only unused, sealed, or shrink-wrap DL products may be returned.
If a product is damaged, return all course materials with a copy of the original invoice and an explanation for the return. Claims for incorrect or damaged shipments must be made within 30 calendar days of the ship date and be accompanied by a copy of the invoice.

AIHA non-member and Distance Learning orders require postage. Please select amount from the table below. Orders are shipped by UPS ground service within two weeks of receipt. Street addresses are required; UPS does not deliver to P.O. boxes. Please contact AIHA Customer Service at (703) 849-8888 if faster delivery is needed.
Note: Orders for The Occupational Environment: Its Evaluation, Control, and Management, Second Edition (the “White Book”) will be levied a shipping charge of $17.00 for each book shipped due to its size. Total shipping charge will not exceed $200. For each book shipped to Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico, there will be a charge of $27.00. For all other international orders, $37.00 will be charged for each book shipped.
