In this issue of the Diplomate, Tom Ouimet interviews John Mulhausen and Paul Hewett on the topic of Bayesian Statistics. This is a great introduction to an essential IH tool presented as a podcast.
For those of you who did not hear the Smyth Lecture at PCIH 2007 in Louisville, this year’s recipient of the award - Deborah Imel Nelson – presents a text version of her talk “Capturing the Wisdom of Industrial Hygiene Leadership."
David Downs, president of the American Industrial Hygiene Foundation, provides an update on the Foundation’s financial position and discusses how you can contribute to the IH profession by supporting the Foundation’s scholarship activities.
As the calendar turns to 2008, many of you will be planning professional development activities for 2008. PCIH offers a compelling agenda for those preferring a more focused networking opportunity and increased interactive discussion with the speakers. Steven Levine has contributed an early description of this year’s conference. I look forward to seeing you in Tampa!
