AIHA Student/Young Member-Focused Programs
Student & Early Career Professionals Committee: Purpose is to engage students at various educational levels, and apprise them of opportunities available to them in the OEHS industry; provide opportunities for students to learn more about their chosen area of study; promote interaction between students and professionals in the field of OEHS.
Future Leaders Institute: designed for Young Professionals with less than 15 years of work experience. The Institute is a 2.5 day program that focuses on strengthening the leadership skills of young IH professionals.
Student Teleweb Loan Program: Archived CDs are available to AIHA Student Members or AIHA Academic Members for use in the classroom. Students and professors are invited to borrow archived telewebs for up to two (2) weeks.
Academic SIG: Facilitates communication among faculty of industrial hygiene programs and enhances their ability to serve the profession in such areas as industrial hygiene curriculum development, traineeship support, program accreditation, and research.

AIHce Student and Young Member Activities
AIHce Student Mixer: Sponsored by AIHA Local Sections and the Foundation. Students have the opportunity to meet with the Local Section Council and network with scholarship recipients.
OEHS Future Leaders Party: Scheduled for Sunday night during conference to welcome students and young members to AIHce.
AIHce Student Track: Sessions specifically designed to meet the needs of AIHce student attendees.
AIHce Student Talks: AIHA members lead informal discussions on topics such as research, career goals, certification, and more.
Volunteer Group Student Awards: Recognition presented to students with outstanding posters and presentations awarded by various volunteer groups.
Undergraduate and Graduate Student Poster Session: Display the latest research in important and timely issues. Authors are present to discuss findings at specified times during the conference. All posters are eligible for numerous AIHA committee and conference awards.

OEHS Library Central: Site contains a catalog of electronic documents available for search and retrieval by AIHA members. Students can have unlimited downloads for only $35.
Access to Journal Archives: Back issues of Applied Occupational and Environmental Hygiene (full text from 1999-2003) are available; back issues of the AIHA Journal (full text from 1999-2003, abstracts from 1982-2003) are available.
Student Website: Web pages devoted to students. Information on membership, activities, programs.
News Links: A new web page listing current news stories on student work in Industrial Hygiene.
Student Recruitment CD-Rom/DVD: Primary audience is college-aged people, secondary audience is High Schoolers. This is available free to everyone.
Career Fair Materials: Informative packet of information for students concerning the field of IH, which includes a poster, membership information, and job-related content.
Marketplace: Gives you access to AIHA publications such as High-Level Résumés: High-Powered Tactic for High-Earning Professionals and The Occupational Environment: Its Evaluation, Control, and Management, Second Edition that also offers a student rebate of $70 when purchased through a bookstore.
