Complete AIHA Journal Archives Now Online

FAIRFAX, VA (February 1, 2008) — The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) announced today that Taylor & Francis, publisher of the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Hygiene (JOEH), has posted the complete archives for AIHA’s journals since the first publication in 1940.

AIHA Journal, AIHAJ, American Industrial Hygiene Association Journal, and American Industrial Hygiene Association Quarterly abstracts are available to all viewers at http://oeh.informaworld.com. Members can access full text by visiting www.aiha.org.

January 2008 marked the fourth anniversary of the joint publication, JOEH. AIHA and the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) ceased publication of their respective journals—the AIHA Journal and the Applied Occupational and Environmental Hygiene—at the end of 2003 to collaborate on the joint publication beginning in January 2004.

In cooperation with Taylor & Francis, JOEH became one of the first journals to publish primarily online. Articles are published on the JOEH website as soon as they are finalized. This publication process enables AIHA and ACGIH members and other JOEH readers to have access to cutting-edge, peer reviewed scientific information in the timeliest manner possible.

Please contact Steven Davis, AIHA’s executive director, at (703) 846-0700 or sdavis@aiha.org with questions regarding the JOEH. For more information, please visit http://www.aiha.org/joeh.htm.
