Scott Technologies Foundation Donates $10,000 to AIHF
Scott Health and Safety contributes to the General Scholarship Endowment
FAIRFAX, VA (February 19, 2008) - The American Industrial Hygiene Foundation (AIHF) received a charitable contribution in the amount of $10,000 from the Scott Technologies Foundation of Scott Health and Safety.
“We commend the efforts, dedication, and achievements of AIHF,” said Mike Ryan, vice president and general manager of Scott Health and Safety. “We hope that our contribution to the General Scholarship Endowment can further support scholarships at a national level.”
“AIHF extends its sincere appreciation to Scott Health and Safety for their continued support of AIHF and its important work for the profession”, said AIHF President David Downs. “The scholarships available through AIHF have enabled talented students to complete their education and have encouraged the most promising scholars to enter or remain in the industrial hygiene profession.”

AIHF is a nonprofit organization formed by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) to award scholarships to students studying industrial hygiene. Since 1982, AIHF has distributed more than $900,000 to 356 students at more than 45 different schools and universities.
