1. How do I enroll in a Distance Learning Course?
Enroll via AIHA's Marketplace or contact customer service between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday at (703) 849-8888.

2. How do I complete an AIHA Distance Learning Course?
AIHA Distance Learning courses guide you through three basic steps:

• Utilize the printed (e.g., student guide, manual) and/or electronic materials (e.g., videos, audiocassettes, CD-ROMs) as directed.
• Complete the student assignments and/or self-quizzes when applicable.
• Request the final exam (if exam is not included in you course materials).
• Complete and return the final exam included with course material.

3. What is the difference between PAL and VHS professional development video courses?
PAL courses are specifically formatted to work on European VCRs. If you have a standard VHS VCR, then you do not need a PAL video. There is no difference in the course materials for PAL and VHS professional development video courses. The difference in cost between the PAL and VHS videos is reflective of the additional costs involved in formatting.

4. What if I do not complete my Distance Learning course by the deadline? What are my options?
You may request up to two (2) six-month extensions, extending your course deadline out one year from its original expiration date. For each six month extension a $100.00 extension fee will apply. Courses may not be extend beyond one year of the original expiration date. Download an extension form here .
5. How long does it take to grade the final exam?
We ask that you allow AIHA two to four weeks to process your final exam and your certificate of completion.

6. Approximately how long will it take to receive my order?
AIHA processes your order as soon as we receive it but we ask that you allow forthree to four weeks for shipping.

7. Is online testing available for self-study courses or videos?
This is currently a feature that is not available for these products. However the option is being explored for future courses.
