24th Annual AIHF Fun Run/Walk
It was an overcast morning in Minneapolis, but luckily the rain held off, as 160 runners and walkers competed in the 24th annual American Industrial Hygiene Foundation (AIHF) Fun Run/Walk around beautiful Lake Harriett. Proceeds from the event help support the AIHF in its mission to advance the profession by awarding scholarships for students in industrial hygiene and related disciplines

In the men’s categories for the 5K race, Frank Disori claimed first place in the 35-and-under age group with a time of 17:07. T.J. Lentz won first place in the 36-to-44 age group with a time of 15:57; Andrew Kalil won in the 45-to-54 age group with a time of 19:28; and Enrique Medina won in the 55-and-older age group with a time of 19:52.
In the women’s categories for the 5K race, Delayne Caseman took first place for women age 35 and under with a time of 21:28. Julie Gary was first in the women’s 36-to-44 age group with a time of 25:03, and Cheryl DuBois was first in the women’s 45-to-54 age group with a time of 20:10. Eileen Kirkpatrick won in the 55-and-older age group with a time of 37:25.
