Biological Environmental Exposure Levels (BEEL) Project Team
In September 2006 the American Industrial Hygiene Association Board approved the formation of a new BEELs Project Team within the structure of the current Biological Monitoring Committee.
Mission: To develop industrial hygiene field guidelines based on biological monitoring of workers for use by field industrial hygienists and other occupational health professionals as essential tools of industrial hygiene where all routes of exposure are important, and also in cases where skin and oral exposure are more important than inhalation exposure.
The team will also promote the utility of biological monitoring to industrial hygienists in conjunction with the Biological Monitoring Committee as a whole.
