Mission: to facilitate the identification of healthcare hazards and to offer possible solutions to professionals targeted with overseeing the occupational health of the employee.
Goals/Objectives:
Goal 1: to serve as a resource for professionals with healthcare hazard and control concerns -- to share existing and emerging information, to promote discussion, to post warnings
Objective 1: to develop a Q&A list
Objective 2: to draft position papers for topics of interest
Objective 3: to participate in and lead professional events
Goal 2: to develop a list of literature and organizations that reference occupational risks in healthcare
Objective 1: to chronicle available health and safety resources
Objective 2: to define a list of key references
Objective 3: to identify reference needs
Goal 3: to support the development of a college-level health and safety textbook about healthcare institutions
