Mission: To enhance the collaborative coordination between Industrial Hygienists and Employee Health/Occupational Health Nurses with the common goal of protecting employees from occupational hazards by incorporating anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and hazard control techniques.
Objectives
-
Write a column in the Journal of the Association of Occupational Health Professionals (JAOHP) that addresses industrial hygiene issues in health care settings. We are also offering to write a similar column in the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses (AAOHN) quarterly newsletter for their members.

Send a representative to present an industrial hygiene presentation at the Association of Occupational Health Professionals in Healthcare (AOHP) and the AAOHN annual conferences.

Encourage local AIHA sections to work with their local AAOHN chapters.
