Infection Control

Mission: To be a source of timely infection control information to industrial hygienists who work in healthcare in an effort to support the infection control teams.  This information may include data on the latest biological hazards and the latest techniques for monitoring and controlling their spread in the environment.  The group will also work to identify areas where additional research is needed in industrial hygiene and infection control. They will also attempt to build collaborations with professional organizations with supportive expertise in related fields both inside and outside of the AIHA.
