Protective Clothing & Equipment Committee
The mission of the committee is:
To assemble and evaluate technical research data regarding performance and use of protective clothing and equipment and disseminate practical application guidance through publication of books, guidelines, and references and delivery of professional development educational programs. Additionally, the committee will participate in the development and analysis of related technological and regulatory issues through alliances with appropriate agencies and committees.
AIHA’s Protective Clothing and Equipment Committee Presents Its:
Student Poster Award – AIHce 2007
The Protective Clothing and Equipment Committee Student Poster Award is pleased to announce its student poster award. The award is being launched to assist industrial and occupational health students in their professional development; to enhance networking opportunities for students; and to provide an opportunity for the committee to strengthen its relationship with the student community.
The student poster award is the monetary sum of $100 US. The award is available to students who are actively pursuing a graduate degree in a discipline related to industrial or occupational hygiene and who are enrolled, at least half-time in an accredited educational institution. Open to students of all nations.
Criteria:
- A scientific or technical poster, as per the AIHA AIHce 2007 student poster guidelines
- Poster must relate to any type of protective clothing or equipment except respiratory protection
- You will be judged on content and appearance by committee members
