Joining the Risk Assessment Committee
Are you interested in joining the risk assessment committee? Are you ready to work and contribute to its activities? If you are, please contact the committee chair, Timothy W. Williams, CIH, CSP. We believe the risk assessment committee is one of the best and most productive AIHA technical committees. We have been recognized as an outstanding AIHA technical committee for the last several years. We are always looking for individuals with new and innovative ideas in advancing the practice of risk assessment.
The risk assessment committee consists of volunteers from industry, academia, private practice, and government. By joining our committee, you expand your possibilities for networking, professional growth, and career opportunities while serving your profession. The risk assessment committee serves as a forum for the exchange of risk related information. Our goal is to expand the science and practice of risk assessment in all specialties of occupational hygiene. Our committee is active in sponsoring risk assessment technical sessions, forums and roundtables, and symposia, developing risk assessment documents and publications, and providing education and training. We are very interested in expanding the use of risk assessment principles and methods in areas outside traditional industrial hygiene. These include, environmental and product stewardship, community disaster and terrorism preparedness.
So, if our activities fit in with your professional interests, join us and help our committee make a difference.
