Roster

Composition: The Nominating Committee shall be composed of not less than three full or fellow members and the immediate past president, who shall serve as chair.

Duties: The Nominating Committee shall nominate persons as directors and officers of the association. It shall present to the AIHA Board of Directors two nominees for each office and five nominees for directors not less than 90 days prior to an annual meeting of the membership. In making nominations, the Nominating Committee shall give consideration to a balance of the employer types, geographic areas, and interests that comprise the association.

Nomination by Petition: In addition to nominations made by the Nominating Committee, nominations for officers and directors may be made by petition of not less than two percent (2%) of the members eligible to vote. Each petition must include a letter from the nominee stating the nominee’s willingness to stand for election. Such petition must be submitted to the chair of the Nominating Committee not less than 120 days prior to the annual meeting of the membership.
