Permanent Conference Committee
The mission of the committee is:
To provide continuity in long-range planning for the AIHce based on joint management by AIHA and ACGIH.
Goals and Objectives
Goal: Provide long-range planning for and improve the technical quality of the presentations at the AIHce.
Objective #1: Provide equal representation to AIHA and ACGIH.
Strategies:
- Alternate the chair annually.
- Include as members the presidents-elect and vice presidents of AIHA and ACGIH.
- Objective #2: Develop procedures for planning and developing technical programs, including abstract submittal, abstract evaluation, session arrangement, presentation of papers, and program evaluation.
Strategies:
Provide assistance and guidance to session arrangers, chairs, and presenters.
Develop evaluation tools and conduct evaluations of AIHce programs and technical sessions.
Assist AIHce program co-chairs in selecting themes and local sites for the AIHce.
