Safety Committee
The mission of the Committee is:
The AIHA Safety Committee will provide a forum for health, safety, and environmental professionals to exchange information in all areas of safety programs including, but not limited to, engineering, management, and administration. This committee will serve as a group of volunteers who are active and knowledgeable in safety matters with a goal of raising the level of understanding among AIHA members in occupational safety issues by conducting the following activities:
- Support conference session development;
- Identify professional development course (PDC) needs/topics;
- Develop, present and/or assure quality of safety-related PDCs; and
- Provide technical safety expertise in the development of Association responses to various legislative affairs issues.
