AIHA Accredited Laboratory Listings

The following links lead to program specific lists of AIHA accredited laboratories.  The lists are sortable on a number of headers including State, Lab Name, Phone Number (Area Code), and Commercial Availability (fee for sample services).  Double-clicking on a lab’s name in the list will open up the details of the laboratory’s scope of accreditation.

Please note that a laboratory for which a published standard method (e.g., NIOSH 7082) is listed may have been assessed and accredited for that method as modified by the laboratory, rather than as published. Always contact the laboratory to verify exact procedures and ensure suitability to your needs.

  • Environmental Lead Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELLAP)
Includes labs accredited for Lead in Soil, Paint, Settled Dust and Air matrices.  All labs accredited in the ELLAP are also recognized as part of the National Lead Laboratory Accreditation Program (NLLAP).
  • Environmental Microbiology Laboratory Accreditation Program (EMLAP)
Includes labs accredited for Fungal direct examination and culturable analysis, as well as Bacterial culturable analysis.
  • Industrial Hygiene Laboratory Accreditation Program (IHLAP)
Includes labs accredited for methods in any core program field of testing such as ICP, AA, GC, GC/MS, Ion Chromatography, UV/VIS, PCM, PLM or TEM.  Additionally, specialized fields of testing requiring additional proficiency testing are also covered such as Beryllium, Pharmaceutical and Compressed Air analysis.
  • FoodLAP
Includes labs accredited for Food Microbiology, Food Chemistry or Food Residue Chemistry.

Note on lack of Search functionality:  AIHA is aware that the lack of Search functionality on this web list is a serious detriment to the utility of these lists.  We have been working on a Search system that will allow web users to search by Program, Field of Testing/Matrix, or standard reference method (e.g. NIOSH 7400).  We apologize for the delay in restoring this functionality but we expect it to be available to web users in the near future.
