Membership in the AIHA Florida Local Section is open to all individuals in the safety, environmental and health fields. Our members are from various backgrounds such as government, consulting, sales, vendors, manufacturing, etc...

Membership runs from January 1 to December 31st. Membership costs $25.00 annually.

Florida has posted information on the Florida Workplace Safety Task Force.  The website is http://www.floridaworkplacesafety.org/schedule.cfm.  The Florida Public Task Force on Workplace Safety will address issues including, but not limited to: differences in the workplace safety needs of private-sector employers and public-sector employers; the relationship between federal and state activities related to workplace safety; and the effect of public-sector workplace safety and health on the economic development efforts of the state.

The meeting schedule is:

• October 17 (Orlando),
• November 14 (Ft. Lauderdale) and/or
• December 2 (Jacksonville) meetings
