Overview:
On April 22, 2010, the Environmental Protection Agency's Lead RRP (40 CFR, Part 745, Subpart E) went into effect. The new rule requires contractors performing renovation, repair and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities, and schools built before 1978 to be certified and follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination.

Although the EPA recently extended the enforcement deadline until October 1st, contractors are enrolling in certification courses across the country to learn about lead safe work practices and the tools needed to meet the new standard.

This interactive webinar you will learn:

- An overview of the RRP
- Best practices to keep lead dust at a minimum during and after the renovation project.
- Some popular tools recommended by the EPA to help minimize lead dust

A Q&A session will be held during the last 15 minutes of the Webinar.
