Think of it as the professonal practice of anticipating, recognizing, evaluating, and controlling health hazards in the workplace.

Covers a lot of ground, doesn't it?   Industrial hygiene is a multidisciplined approach to occupational health.  Part of the secret to being an effective IH is knowing your job and also knowing who to call upon for expert help.  That's why AIHA Alabama was created and why we continue to grow.
