
The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) is an organization of professionals dedicated to the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of environmental factors arising in the work place that may result in injury, illness, impairment, or affect the well-being of workers and members of the community. The Arabian Gulf Section (AGS) offers professional support and a connection to the international association outreach exchanging expertise and a sharing of professional knowledge and good science. The AIHA-AGS includes industrial hygiene professionals, but is not limited to these professionals and allows membership and sharing with others with an interest in worker health and safety.

The American Industrial Hygiene Association is devoted to promoting, protecting,
and enhancing the profession to affect positively the health and well-being of
workers and members of the community. The AIHA-AGS shares this mission.
