Safety Officer (Philadelphia, PA)

 The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), located in Philadelphia, PA, is recruiting for an Environmental Safety Officer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, assessing and successfully implementing a strategy to assure Authority compliance with the requirements of the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Resource Response and Recovery Act and the Toxic Substance Control Act.

Requirements:  Must have a B.S. Degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, or in a related health, safety, engineering or environmental discipline, plus a minimum of five years experience in the environmental field, which includes in-depth knowledge of the PaDAP and EPA environmental regulations.  Must have strong technical writing skills and be able to work a demanding work schedule which includes non-traditional work hours. Will be subject to working "on-call." Must have a valid driver's license.

Principal Industrial Hygienist (Exton, PA)

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science or equivalent, MS, Certified Safety Professional/Certified Industrial Hygienist, 40-hr OSHA HAZWOPER certification a plus.
