Northwest Ohio Local Section

Welcome to the NWO-AIHA!

We are industrial hygiene, safety, health and environmental professionals from across northwest Ohio and lower Michigan. Our goals include:

• Fostering communication and networking within the broad field of environmental, occupational safety and health

• Promoting the profession of industrial hygiene through a cooperative effort with government, industries, academia and other professional bodies

• Influencing and developing legislation that impacts industrial hygiene professionals

• Providing opportunities for the membership to expand their knowledge base and obtain certification maintenance points locally

• Supporting and driving the national AIHA goals and objectives.

Through the dedication of our volunteers, NWO-AIHA will thrive and continue to promote and protect safe and healthy workplaces within our region.
