Community Outreach
In efforts to promote interest in
the field of Environmental and Occupational Health and
Safety and Industrial Hygiene in the Northwest Ohio
Community the NWO-AIHA participates in local science
fairs and community programs to foster the interest of
local youth in our profession.
Presently, members of the NWO-AIHA judge Junior and
Senior High School science projects that have an
environmental or occupational association. The NWO-AIHA
offers cash prizes for exceptional projects.
The Northwest Ohio District Science Fair is normally in
March of each year and we solicit judges prior to the
event from our members. |
