Can a behavior-based safety process reduce the probability of an employee sustaining a work-related injury or illness? This presentation describes the actions taken to implement a sustainable behavior-based safety process .
The behavior-based safety process at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center utilized a pilot study of national laboratory employees to: achieve employee, union and management support, reduce the probability of employees’ sustaining work-related injuries and illnesses and provide support for additional funding for process expansion within the laboratory.
