Establish a Helm committee to stay the course for future growth.
After the pilot phase moves forward and phase II has been initiated, a safety coordinator will begin to scale the behavior-based safety process to include other work departments and divisions. To ensure that employees within the departments or work groups that participate in a behavior-based safety process have a forum to address their comments and concerns, it is essential that they have direct access to all committees in the process including the Helm committee.
