Our first partnership was just signed a couple of months ago, with Associated Builders & Contractors of Iowa. Historically we have not had great success in openly communicating with the construction industry. Partnerships have seemingly opened the communication lines. We now find our Consultation service regularly invited to perform onsite visits and 10 hour training at construction sites. The potential impact of partnerships is very exciting. ABC of Iowa has at this time 382 member contractors who employ over 3800 personnel. There are nearly 65,000 employees in the construction industry in Iowa. Although we have not signed any other partnerships, we have found allies in a few very large construction contractors in the state. We are looking forward to signing partnerships with these contractors in the future. In doing so, we believe exemplary safety & health practices will trickle down to the sub-contractors with whom they deal with on a regular basis & positively impact the 65,000 construction employees in the state.
