How does AIHce attract the world’s best, most qualified OEHS professionals?

Direct Mail
AIHce has developed a strong direct mail campaign beginning in October and continuing through April resulting in 100,000+ hits. Our markets are highly targeted to generate quality attendees at the conference. Potential attendees are from our exclusive database of members and prospective members as well as other sources. The AIHce Advance Program includes an alphabetical listing of exhibitors.

AIHce Web Site
The technical program, virtual expo and all the latest information are available online. Check regularly for updates at www.aiha.org/aihce.htm. The AIHce Web site will be updated and enhanced for 2003.

Trade Publication Advertising and Articles
AIHce promotes the conference and exposition in several of the top publications such as Compliance, Environmental Protection, Occupational Health & Safety, Occupational Hazards, Industrial Hygiene News and Industrial Safety and Hygiene News. These publications not only help advertise AIHce, but also publish articles that support the profession and list the exhibitors in several issues prior to the conference.

AIHA/ACGIH Trade Publications
The AIHA Journal (circulation, 12,000), The Synergist (circulation, 12,000), ACGIH’s journal Applied Occupational and Environmental Hygiene (circulation, 6,500) and other monthly newsletters heavily promote and feature coverage of AIHce.

Public Relations
In 2002, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX and Univision news cameras covered AIHce. This resulted in 11 broadcasts in two days on local TV stations. Several exhibitors were featured prominently—including demonstrations of their products! A variety of print media also attended.

The AIHce public relations staff works diligently to promote the upcoming conference and exposition through press releases and articles for publications. They actively promote conference attendees as technical experts on a myriad of topics. Months prior to the conference, they also concentrate their efforts in securing media coverage of the conference and exposition. A pressroom is maintained on site to help facilitate this process. Exhibitors are welcome to put their press packets in the press room, often resulting in even more coverage.
