Hotel Locator and Hotels-at-a-Glance

Before making reservations, check the Hotel Locator for an overview of AIHce hotel locations. AIHce selects the most convenient, safe, and service-oriented hotels that offer a variety of rates to meets everyone’s needs. For a quick guide to services and amenities offered, review Hotels-at-a-Glance. For more information on individual hotels, read the hotel profiles when making reservations. Note, the descriptions contained in the profiles are provided by the hotels.

Hotel Reservation Policies

Registration for AIHce is required to reserve hotel accommodations. Rooms are reserved first- come, first-served and reservations must be made by April 28 to receive the conference rate. After April 28, rooms at the conference rate are subject to availability. The earlier reserved, the better the chances of obtaining a preferred hotel.

Reservation acknowledgments will be sent with registration confirmation within 48 hours of online booking. If an acknowledgment is not received within two weeks, contact AIHce/Experient to insure arrangements are in order. Individual hotels will not send a confirmation.

Government Rate Rooms

A limited number of rooms are available at the government rate and are reserved first-come, first served. Proof of government employment is required at check-in. For Minneapolis, the lodging rate is $121, excluding taxes (subject to change).

Credit Card Guarantee for Hotel

All reservations require a credit card to hold the room. If separate credit cards must be used to register and to guarantee a hotel room, contact AIHce/Experient by fax 800-521-6017 or e-mail aihce@experient-inc.com. Provide the credit card number and expiration date (must be later than June, 2008). Requests for accommodations without a credit card guarantee cannot be processed.

Note: After May 6, the hotel, at its discretion, may charge one night’s deposit to the credit card provided. 

Special Requests

Indicate any special requirements (i.e., early check-in, low floor, suite, etc.). Requests will be relayed to the hotel but cannot be confirmed until arrival. Suite and Concierge rates are higher than published room rates and cannot be reserved online. For information, contact aihce@experient-inc.com.

Local Resident/Visitor Discount

A registration discount applies to registrants whose permanent mailing address zip code is within 150 miles of the Minneapolis Convention Center. To check eligibility as a local resident, see the Zip Code Directory.

Registrants staying with family or local friends may also qualify for the registration discount. Contact AIHA Meetings at 703-849-8888 for assistance.

Sharing a Room

Professional registrants who wish to share a room (does not apply to family member/guest category) must each register to receive the discounted hotel rate. Be sure to list the name(s) of all occupants sharing a room and specify bed type.
