Presenters may register and reserve hotel accommodations online or complete the Advance Registration and Hotel Reservation Form. The deadline is April 28. If registered by April 21, badges will be mailed in advance.
AIHA and ACGIH member oral and poster presenters, session arrangers, moderators, and monitors are required to pay the applicable conference registration fee or the one-day fee. Invited, nonmember roundtable presenters only may attend the conference at no charge.
All presenters must check in at the Speaker Ready Room to insure that presentations are compatible with the projection equipment provided in the meeting room. Check in at least 30-60 minutes prior to the session (not your individual presentation).
AIHce recommends PowerPoint (ppt) for all presenters. Adobe Acrobat (pdf) and HTML (html) files may also be used. AIHce-supplied computers in the meeting rooms are Windows-based PCs with Microsoft PowerPoint (Office XP); the latest versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader, Windows Media Player, and Quick Time for Windows. Other presentation programs will not be available. PowerPoint 4.x, 98/2001, and 10 created on a Macintosh computer will open successfully on a PC. See Helpful Hints for Preparing Oral Presentations.
The Ready Room will also be equipped with editing stations and professional audiovisual consultants will be available to assist with technical questions. Presenters may use personal laptops to review slides; however, laptops may not be used in session rooms.
All sessions will be recorded for sale, unless otherwise noted in the Final Program. If you do not grant permission to record your presentation, it will be edited. Presenters may obtain a copy of their session at a reduced rate; discount coupons will be available in the Ready Room.
We encourage all speakers to extend the impact of their presentation by allowing AIHA to post presentations on the AIHce website, post-conference. This website is complimentary to users.
Presenters who have agreed to provide presentations should meet with an audiovisual technician in the Speaker Ready Room to have slides copied to a master CD.
