Designed specifically for Students and Early Career Professionals, AIHA members will lead informal discussions on a variety of topics such as research, career goals, CIH certification, and more! Purchase your lunch and pick a topic. Seating is available first come, first-served.
Looking to score your dream job in OEHS? The Development Fair will equip you with the tools you need to navigate your career path. Get helpful information on issues that matter to you—job searching in today’s unstable economy, using social networking sites in your job search, writing an eye-catching résumé, and more. Sign up for a personal mock interviewing session and have your resume critiqued by a hiring manager. Also, be sure to stop by the Development Fair’s first ever speed networking event, where you can meet more potential job contacts than you would at a traditional networking event.
These are not closed door meetings! Unless otherwise noted, all volunteer group meetings are open to everyone. AIHA has more than 45 volunteer group meetings that focus on a variety of technical topics as well as some that address student needs.
Show your support of the American Industrial Hygiene Foundation by running 5k or walking 2k. All participants must stop by the AIHF Booth in the Convention Center to confirm registration and to pick-up your race number. Registration is $30 in advance and $40 if you register on-site at the AIHF booth by Monday, June 1. (No registrations will be accepted at the race site on Tuesday morning.)
Meet other student local section officers and share best practices with one another. If you’re interested in creating a student local section, please attend.
Interact with members of the SECP committee. Discuss current and new projects focused on developing outreach materials and providing students and early career industrial hygienists with mentoring. New volunteers, including students, are encouraged to attend.
