ES&H Analyst: Seeking highly motivated candidates to conduct engineering analyses in support of DOE’s National Energy Technology Laboratory in Pittsburgh, PA. Activities may include preparing, reviewing, and commenting on Engineering Research Division (ERD) directives and processes; supporting ERD quality assurance programs, safety analyses and training course development; assisting with the completion of the electronic Safety, Analysis, and Review System. This individual will be responsible for decommissioning completed federal research projects and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Successful candidates will have a B.S. in engineering or related science. A strong knowledge of ES&H regulations is preferred along with basic engineering principles and scientific concepts. Strong organizational, writing and oral communication skills are desired. Individual must also have strong computer skills.
