Local Section
The Pittsburgh Local Section of the AIHA is a non-profit organization providing a
local forum for Industrial Hygienists in Western Pennsylvania, parts of West
Virginia and Ohio. The purpose of our organization is to promote the study,
evaluation, and control of environmental stresses in the workplace as they
impact the health and well being of our employees and the public. The local
section, by offering monthly programs and seminars, provides opportunities to
increase our knowledge of industrial and environmental health through the
exchange of ideas and the dissemination of information to our members.
This site is intended to provide Local Section
Members with information pertaining to membership, meetings, National AIHA
