To all DEAIHA members
My new position as Senior Consultant is going great. As one of about 30 - 35 consultants around the world, I am responsible for helping our clients achieve continuous improvement in safety performance and safety excellence. We do this by employing a number of proven technologies including
- conducting assessments of organizational safety climate, and developing recommendations for improvement
- conducting diagnostics of leadership dimensions related to safety, and providing tools for further development
- developing supervisory safety skills through education and coaching
- implementation of employee engagement initiatives
These services are aimed at transforming an organizations culture so that it truly supports safety.
I have clients all over the United States at this point, and am really enjoying what Im involved in. This type of safety management consulting truly plays to my strength areas. All in all, this has been a great change for me.
I have no plans to move as I love living here in Maine. I look forward to seeing everyone again at our DEAIHA meetings and safety conferences.
