Comprehensive Industrial Hygiene Review
AIHA
Gulf Coast Chapter is
co-sponsoring with the Southwest Center for Occupational &
Environmental Health the Comprehensive Industrial Hygiene Review
scheduled for July 24-28 in Houston. It will take place at the
University of Texas Health Sciences Center’s Operations Center Building (OCB)
located at 1851 Crosspoint Ave., Rio Grande Room (OCB 2.200), Houston.
OCB is located just off the I 610 behind where “Astro World” used to be. There
is plenty of free parking on the premises and lunch is provided daily.
This review, in particular
preparation for the certification exam (or for those of you who are collecting
continuing education points – recertification!), was prepared by IH experts
with the ABIH Rubric as a primary guideline. This is a terrific refresher for
the fundamentals but also for assessing emerging topics in the field.
As the co-sponsor
for Comprehensive Industrial Hygiene Review, Gulf Coast Chapter Members
receive a registration discount of $50 for either regular ($975) or late
($1,175) registration. The regular registration deadline is July 10 and
members are urged to take advantage of this since after that date the course
fee rises by $200.
If you would like to
stay near the course site since class begins at 8 am, accommodations can be
made directly with the Marriott SpingHill Suites (713-796-1000 or
800-287-9400). Please mention the Comprehensive Industrial Hygiene Review to
receive the special group rate of $79 per night. The final day to receive this
rate is July 10 and space is limited.
Please
download the brochure for all
pertinent information. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t
