Radiation Safety Institute of Canada
Radiation Safety Institute of Canada is an independent,
national organization dedicated to the promotion of radiation safety
in the workplace and in the environment. The Institute is known for the
quality and effectiveness of its educational, technical, and consultative
services in radiation safety and in testing for the presence of radon in
homes, schools and other buildings.

MANITOBA FEDERATION OF LABOUR OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH CENTRE
You are invited to the MFL Occupational Health Centre public presentations at 275 Broadway. Topics relating to occupational and environmental health will be presented by invited guests and staff of the Centre. The sessions are held on the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.

NIOSH/EPA BUILDING AIR QUALITY PUBLICATIONS
The publication "Building Air Quality - Action Plan" (NIOSH Pub 98-123/EPA Pub No. 402-K-98-001) is available on the web (and perhaps from the NIOSH Publications folks). The URL for the Web version is:

INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE FACT SHEETS
The State of New Jersey has put together a good review of industrial hygiene controls in a fact sheet format. Go to http://www.state.nj.us/health/eoh/survweb/odispubs.htm. The fact sheets are available in PDF (portable document format) under the heading "Controlling Chemical Exposure: Industrial Hygiene Fact Sheets". You can download the file and read it off-line with the Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you don't have this Reader, it can be obtained (free) from the Adobe web site at http://www.adobe.com.
LABORATORY INCIDENTS WEBSITE
This is a great website for information on laboratory accidents.
The AIHA Laboratory Health and Safety Committee has developed a homepage which includes information on laboratory safety incidents.
