The Safety Operations and Support Branch in the Division of Occupational Health and Safety, ORS, at the National Institutes of Health is recruiting for several Safety Specialists positions at the GS 9, 11 or 12 levels, or for a USPHS officer.

laboratories, patient care areas, or animal care facilities for the purpose of identifying potential hazards; or conducting 
investigations of incidents involving personal injury, illness, or property damage; AND you want to play a significant role in a 
dynamic organization, then consider joining the NIH Division of Occupational Health and Safety (DOHS). DOHS is responsible 
for developing, implementing, and conducting a comprehensive intramural safety program to create and maintain a safe and 
healthful environment for NIH patients, employees, visitors, guest workers, and others utilizing NIH facilities.
