Membership and participation in the Potomac Section of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) provides a wide range of opportunities to enhance professional growth while promoting the occupational health field.  Among the valuable benefits of membership:

• Network and interact with fellow industrial hygienists, occupational physicians and other environmental health and safety professionals, local vendors, and members who hold influential positions in government and industry.
• Influence state and local legislation on occupational health and industrial hygiene career issues (e.g., title protection and licensing) through a combined professional voice.
• Closely interact with American Industrial Hygiene Association National Headquarters.
