With most AIHA staff taking advantage of the opportunity to work remotely, the current larger office space is no longer needed and AIHA will be moving to a more cost-effective workspace. Our new address will be 3120 Fairview Park Drive, Suite 360, Falls Church, VA 22042, just across the street from our current location.

Starting Sep. 30, due to the relocation of AIHA’s offices, we cannot receive any incoming packages from UPS, FedEx, DHL or Amazon until further notice.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact AIHA's Member and Customer Services ([email protected]). Thank you for your understanding.

Industrial Hygiene (IH) is a science and art devoted to the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, control, and confirmation of protection from those environmental factors or stresses arising in or from the workplace which may cause sickness, impaired health and well being, or significant discomfort among workers or among citizens of the community.

I Am IH

In short, industrial hygienists and occupational health and safety science professionals come from all walks of life and pathways. They are the "invisible heroes" who make sure our friends, acquaintances, and loved ones come home safe every day.

AIHA and dBase Media Partnership

At a time when the term ‘Back to Work Safely’ was born and ‘PPE’ became a household acronym, the importance of occupational and environmental health and safety has never been better recognized. AIHA is partnering with dBase Media in 2021 to develop a video program highlighting the invaluable work industrial hygienists and occupational and environmental health and safety science professionals do to protect workers both on the job and in the community.
