Washington D.C. is the Place To Be this September

This month there are two events of interest taking place in Washington D.C., the International Occupational Hygiene Association (IOHA) conference and Product Stewardship 2018. The IOHA conference is the must-attend conference for occupational hygiene professionals from across the world because of its varied array of quality, peer-reviewed presentations on international issues in the industrial hygiene and occupational health industry. Attendees also enjoy numerous networking opportunities to connect with their peers.

Product Stewardship 2018 features presentations related to the product stewardship field in a range of topics, difficulty levels, and learning formats. In fact, it is the only conference of its kind dedicated to the product stewardship profession. The conference covers a dozen different industry sectors and touches on topics throughout the value chain. Like IOHA, it also features engaging networking opportunities so attendees can connect. So, whether you are interested in inconsistencies in the classification of chemical hazards or SDS label authoring, you’ll be sure to find a presentation of interest to you.

Both conferences will be held in the heart of the Nation’s capital at the Marriott Marquis hotel. IOHA 2018 will take place September 24-26, 2018 with professional development courses (PDCs) being offered September 22, 23, and 27. Product Stewardship will take place September 27-29, 2018. They are also offering, “Essentials of Product of Stewardship,” a full day course on Wednesday, September 26 for people who cannot attend the full conference. Conveniently, both conferences have virtual options for people that are not able to travel for professional development.
