About the American Industrial Hygiene Foundation (AIHF)
The mission of the American Industrial Hygiene Foundation (AIHF) is to advance the profession by awarding scholarships for students in industrial hygiene and related disciplines, and funding training/professional development opportunities for industrial hygienists in the first 15 years of their professional careers in industrial hygiene and related disciplines. Since 1982, AIHF has distributed $1,469,776 to 509 students studying industrial hygiene and related disciplines at 53 different schools and universities. These scholarships have enabled talented students to complete their education and have encouraged the most promising scholars to enter or remain in the industrial hygiene profession.
The AIHA Proficiency Analytical Testing Programs, LLC
is an ISO/IEC 17043:2010 Accredited Proficiency Testing Provider. AIHA PAT Programs has been providing participant organizations with the opportunity to improve and refine the analytical skills of their staff, while testing new procedures or training different analysts for more than 25 years. These programs, which are open to any interested participants, allow organizations' employees to demonstrate their ability to correctly analyze samples in the workplace and the environment.
