AIHce 2013 is May 18-23 in Montreal, Quebec
FALLS CHURCH, Va. (February 15, 2015) — The American Industrial Hygiene Association® (AIHA) announces the early registration period for the 2013 American Industrial Hygiene Conference & Exposition (AIHce). Early registration for AIHce 2013 will close on March 8. The conference will take place in Montreal May 18-23 and will deliver education and information on the latest in industrial hygiene scientific issues, management trends and industry innovations.
The theme for AIHce 2013 is “The Art + Science of Professional Judgment” and will include exhibits and presentations from keynote speakers focusing on the need to integrate sound science with creativity and innovation to protect worker health. Conference attendees will have access to invaluable professional resources and leading educational materials.
This year AIHA is offering the AIHce Layaway Plan, which allows attendees to pay only 50% of the conference fees upon registration. The remainder of the fees will be charged on April 30. Registration for AIHce 2013 includes:
Four days of technical session programming including thought-provoking general sessions, technical presentations and posters, luncheon discussions, technical tours and award-winning lectures
AIHce On Demand – audio-synced files of the technical session presentations that allow attendees to experience all the concurrent sessions virtually
The new “unsession” format where AIHce attendees suggest the topic and AIHA delivers the session – all developed during the conference
An exposition that features over 250 exhibitors, a cocktail reception, live demonstrations and educational opportunities – plus prizes
Conference App for all smartphone and tablet formats, which allows attendees to plan their days and connect with other attendees
Networking opportunities for professionals to connect with like-minded individuals on technical issues, about career opportunities, and at social events. Attendees can engage with students, explore volunteer opportunities, mix and mingle at social events, even exercise for a good cause in the American Industrial Hygiene Foundation’s Fun Run/Walk to support scholarships.
Additional education is offered through AIHA’s professional development courses (PDCs), which occur the weekend prior to AIHce.
