Nancy Green, FASAE, CAE, Joins AIHA as Deputy Executive Director

Nancy Green, FASAE, CAE, will start her position as Executive Vice President/Deputy Executive Director at the American Industrial Hygiene Association on Oct.5.

FALLS CHURCH, Va. (August 21, 2015) — The American Industrial Hygiene Association® (AIHA) has hirednancy.jpg Nancy Green, FASAE, CAE, as the association’s Executive Vice President/Deputy Executive Director. Green brings more than 25 years of experience in association and nonprofit management to this newly formed position, and will play a major role in advancing AIHA’s strategic plan and operational goals. During her first 90 days with AIHA, Green will learn about all aspects of the association’s strategic direction, challenges and opportunities facing members, and the roles and contributions of AIHA staff.

“AIHA has a strong reputation in the association community, and I am looking forward to joining a team that is on the cutting edge of learning and association management,” said Green.

Green most recently worked as the Executive Vice President at Association Strategies, Inc. She previously held executive-level positions at the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC), The Fund to Promote Awareness of Occupational Therapy, and the American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc. (AOTA). She is also a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and a Fellow of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).

Green writes and speaks on strategic leadership, CEO evaluation, and governance topics in industry publications such as ASAE’s magazine, Associations Now. She possesses extensive expertise in the association industry and has built a strong network of leaders across various sectors.

Green is slated to start her new position at AIHA on Oct. 5, 2015.
