Patrick Karol’s work in the safety field began as a front-line supervisor with safety as a collateral duty, and now involves advising senior leaders on strategies to reduce risk. His experience includes 20 years in the corporate safety departments of two Fortune 500 companies and the Federal government. He currently works as a safety and health consultant.
In every position and role throughout his career, Pat made it his mission to "make safety personal,” to ensure leaders see the people behind the numbers and to highlight significant success stories. His philosophy on safety can be summed up with this quote from Doctor Seuss “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”
