The Synergist Weekly e-newsletter, published on Thursdays, is AIHA’s primary vehicle for covering news about the industrial hygiene and occupational and environmental health and safety industries and AIHA. The activities of U.S. government agencies—OSHA, NIOSH, EPA, the U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board, among others—and their Canadian and European counterparts are the Weekly’s major focus; also included are relevant news and publications from universities, related nonprofits, and research organizations such as IRSST, a nonprofit occupational health and safety research center in Québec, Canada. In addition, the Weekly is where AIHA members are most likely to find news items about AIHA courses, webinars, conferences, and publications. And every issue of the Weekly features a link to the digital version of an article from the current issue of The Synergist magazine.
The Synergist Weekly also includes news from other AIHA newsletters in an effort to gather information from across the association in one email. AIHA members have the option to subscribe separately to additional newsletters via AIHA's email preference center. This gives members more control over the emails that are sent directly to their inboxes.
