AIHA's 2015 Fall Conference is all about Sharing Solutions & Networking to Promote Worker Health & Safety. Taking place at the Hyatt Regency Orlando on October 26 and 27, AIHA presents an intimate and collaborative environment for IH/OH professionals of all levels. From students and young professionals to the most experienced, attendees will learn new strategies, gather to network, and get a first-hand look at the future of industrial hygiene.
Our keynote speaker is Practical Futurist® Michael Rogers,
a technology pioneer, author, and journalist who helps organizations
around the world think about the future. His entertaining and common sense vision of change blends technology, economics, demographics, culture, and human nature. Further sessions will build on Rogers' "big picture" view and how it applies to AIHA and the profession. Hear about AIHA's Strategic Content Priorities from AIHA President-elect Steve Lacey, research priorities from NIOSH's Director John Howard, and many more by following our new Thought Leader track throughout the conference.
According to a survey taken after last year's conference, 97% of attendees agreed that "The conference delivered information that has practical application to my work." Nine out of ten attendees would recommend the Fall Conference to a colleague!
We are also offering 15 in-depth pre- and post-conference Professional Development Courses; informative discussions on OELs, nanomaterials, sensor technology, and the future of IH; five structured learning tracks; organized networking opportunities; and once-in-a-lifetime tours of Disney World and CSX Rail.
Whether you consider yourself just getting started in the field, a mid-level professional, or have been in the profession for years, AIHA Fall Conference has something for everyone!
