About the presenter

Dr. Michael Larrañaga is President and Managing Principal of R.E.M. Risk Consultants, an occupational safety, process safety, and risk management consulting firm. He is an appointed member of the Scientific / Technical Advisory Committee of the World Trade Center Health Program of the CDC and serves on the Department of Homeland Security Opioid Working Group for field detection of fentanyl and related compounds. He is co-founder of the “HSx – Advanced Thinking in Homeland Security” program at the United States Naval Postgraduate School’s Center for Homeland Defense and Security.
