IHMEN Database Instructions

Methods are listed alphabetically by chemical name.  To search this database for any string of characters, such as Chemical Name or CAS number (## - ## - ##), select "Edit", "Find in Page" function of your internet browser.  This function will also find partial character strings (for example benz would find benzene, benzonitrile and any other chemical with benz anywhere in the chemical name).

To obtain more information about a specific method found below link to the method request, this will also notify both the method provider and the IHMEN committee that you have accessed the method.

If you do not find the chemical you are looking for please register on the "No-hit" list.  No-hit list is shown at the bottom of this page.  This list will be monitored by the AIHA Sampling and Laboratory Analysis Committee to determine method needs and to help bring together requesters who have the same method needs. This will provide the opportunity for the sharing of method development costs.
