Opioid Exposure Protections for First Responders

Thanks to everyone who responded to last month’s questions about protecting first responders, such as law enforcement, EMTs, crime lab analysts, and others from exposure to opioids and their potent synthetic analogues – we learned a lot and made some great contacts!

Since then, we’ve been busy, meeting and preparing to meet with policymakers from several States, including New Jersey, Ohio, and Virginia. We’re also working with President Trump’s Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and the Opioid Crisis. Expect more information on these matters in the near future.

Do you have any connections with State or Federal policymakers who are or may be interested in working on protecting first responders and others from exposure to opioids and synthetic analogues? Would you be interesting in making such connections? If so, please email Mark Ames or call 703-846-0730.
