AIHA's public policy priorities are focused on three core areas:

  1. Protecting Workers and the Public from Hazardous Noise Exposure
  2. Protecting Workers and the Public from Thermal Stress
  3. Strengthening the OEHS Professional Pathway and Improving the Learning and Working Conditions of Schools
    1. Key Resource: How To Set Up Meetings with Students, Teachers, Guidance Counselors, School Nurses, or School Leaders

AIHA will continue to engage with our members, policymakers, and other stakeholders on other issues not specifically covered by our public policy priorities. Our goal remains to translate as much of our members’ technical expertise into public policy recommendations as possible to protect more workers and their communities.
